We are a group of master students in publishing at the university of the arts in london. At the moment we are producing a book about the etymology of different places in london and whether their meanings bear any relevance to the modern towns.
We are currently seeking people who are interested in contributing. One of the areas we are working on is Bethnal Green and I thought this might be of interest to you as you are writing about the area yourself and/ or seem to live there. However, we are seeking contributions for 15 different parts of london, so if you were interested i could send you a list of the other places.
As the book will be printed and published, this is a great opportunity to get your work published and to make your blog better-known. And naturally you would be mentioned as the original author receive a copy of the publication.
The contribution could be in the form of writing, drawing, art, photography, but should always have to do with the original meaning of the place and your personal opinion whether the meaning is still represented in some for.The text should not exceed 500 words if it is a text.
